IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING INDEPENDENCE TOWARDS PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL: A CASE STUDY IN MAKING HERBARIUM NAME CARD PRODUCTS

The independence of student learning is one aspect to determine the success learning, but fact that there are still many students who need be more independent in learning. This research will evaluate whether project-based (PjBL) model can improve (SLI). study a quantitative using quasi-experimental method. Pretest-postest group design was employed as design. object from year seven class B and D LHI Islamic Junior High School first semester academic 2022/2023, which were selected classroom random sampling technique. findings indicate this applied science with herbarium project increase SLI due requirement being during completing an individual project. In addition, for future works, it could add new activities also maximize collaboration among their projects conjunction independence.
